Cottesmore Golf and Country Club
Cottesmore Golf and Country Club is open to members and non-members. The club was established in 1975 by the Rogerson family on the site of a farm attached to Cottesmore School.
The Courses
Cottesmore Golf and Country Club contains two 18-hole golf courses:
- The Griffin provides an interesting challenge for good golfers, with narrow fairways and several water holes. It hosted the Sussex Open in 2006-7. Green fees are £29 on weekdays and £33 at weekends (£21 and £24 respectively if starting late in the day).
- The Phoenix is shorter and easier — and cheaper, both in terms of green fees (£16/£10 on weekdays and £20/£12 at weekends) and the reduced likelihood of losing golf balls.
Rounds can be booked by phone on 01293 861777.

Holiday Cottages
